Dealing with IP Rights - Avoiding the Key Pitfalls
IP rights have never been more important commercially. They frequently represent the majority of the value of a business which is being sold. This introductory course assumes little prior knowledge of IP and will explain what the key pitfalls are when transferring and mortgaging IP rights.
The course will also explore the impact of the trade secrets directive (2016/943), the recently published draft EU withdrawal agreement and the future unitary patent.
