Introduction

Following China’s implementation of new security laws in Hong Kong, the UK Government introduced a visa category for British National (Overseas) BN(O) citizens and their eligible family members to come to the UK to live. This category could eventually lead to Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), also known as Settlement or Permanent Residence, and British citizenship.

This UK immigration route is a useful category for BN(O) citizens and offers advantages compared to other UK immigration routes. It is also the first UK immigration category specifically designed to accommodate BN(O) citizens and their eligible family members.

During this webinar immigration expert Jessica Yu will take you through what you need to know about this invaluable visa route and will offer guidance on how to overcome some of the challenges applicants and practitioners may face.
