Introduction
The legislation concerning asylum support has not really changed in a long time, but the procedures for allocating accommodation with a complex system of accommodation providers and managers, the delays that have occurred and the dwindling of resources over the last few years, certainly have.
Presented by expert speaker Sarah Pinder of Goldsmith Chambers, this new virtual classroom seminar will equip immigration and public law practitioners with the knowledge and confidence to take up challenges against s.95 decisions or failures to act and delay cases.
What You Will Learn
This live and interactive session will cover the following:
- Asylum support legal framework
- Home Office Policies on s.95 accommodation
- Adequacy of accommodation
- Vulnerable applicants
- Special cases - Persons with disabilities or medical conditions
- Judicial Review principles in delay cases
Recording of live sessions: Soon after the Learn Live session has taken place you will be able to go back and access the recording - should you wish to revisit the material discussed.
