Introduction
The right to paid annual leave is set out in the Working Time Regulations 1998. Whilst the amount of leave is straightforward, a number of issues regarding the way that annual leave should be paid, and how it should be calculated, have resulted in a considerable amount of case law.
Of particular note is the ruling in Harpur Trust v Brazel [2022] UKSC21 which addresses the calculation of pay during annual leave for those working irregular hours.
In this webinar we will examine the Brazel ruling and other issues surrounding annual leave, with reference to relevant case law.
