An Introduction to Negotiating & Managing R&D Collaboration Agreements
R&D collaborations can be of significant importance to many organisations, both public and private, in order to explore and develop key technology, products and ideas.
This introductory level course will examine and explore common areas of concern when considering and negotiating R&D collaboration agreements, including issues relating to IP, State Aid, indemnities and dispute resolution which can often be challenging when involving international partners and, most topically, the effects of ‘Brexit’ on such collaborations.
This session is aimed at both in-house and private practice solicitors who are involved with research collaborations and will provide you with practical and commercial advice, solutions and tips to improve your knowledge of the research lifecycle and help you to successfully negotiate contracts and manage projects following contract signature.
