UK Competition Law - Latest Litigation Update
Introduction
The world of UK competition litigation and collective actions is rapidly developing and 2023 has seen an influx of highly important judgments. This includes the first UK judgment concerning a cartel case in which the claimants have made a multitude of cartel purchases, and significant further developments on the certification and funding of collective actions in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.
This short webinar will bring you up to speed on these developments, explain their impact on current and future cases, and provide tips for litigating future claims.
The webinar assumes a strong background knowledge in this area and will provide you with an update on four key competition litigation cases, namely:
- Royal Mail Group Limited v DAF Trucks Limited and Others [2023]
- Evans v Barclays Bank Plc [2023]
- UK Trucks Claim Ltd v Stellantis NV (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV) [2023]; and
- R. (on the application of PACCAR Inc) v Competition Appeal Tribunal [2023]
What You Will Learn
