Accidents on Holiday - Practical Guidance & Recent Caselaw

Introduction

This virtual classroom seminar is designed to discuss the different types of claims that may arise following an accident on holiday, including those happening during packages, whilst on board a flight, or on a ship.

This live session will offer practical guidance on the relevant law and tips for litigators who are handling these claims. Recent caselaw, such as TUI UK Ltd v Griffiths [2023], will be discussed, as will its impact on claims in this arena.

• The Athens and Montreal Conventions, as well as common pitfalls in claims brought under the Conventions and their differing limitation periods
