Kate Wright

Principal Associate, Weightmans. Kate is a public sector specialist in the Local Government team with 13 years’ experience. She acts for many Local Authorities across England and deals with a range of employers’ and public liability claims, and public inquiries. Kate has particular expertise in highways to include claims, definitions, public rights of way, and policy issues – having won numerous cases at trial. She has also worked with highway authorities on revising codes of practice in light of the risk-based changes.
