Non-Doms & Non-Residents - UK Tax Explained
This live broadcast will explore UK tax for both foreigners who live in the UK, but also British expats living abroad.
The various types of taxes will be explored to assist you in advising clients in a tax efficient way. In order to advise clients on any international issues, it is essential to first know whether the client is UK resident or not. Using case studies and practical examples, this session will navigate the latest changes in legislation and arm you with the strategies to advise on the international client’s residence, including the overseas workday provisions and the remittance basis.
The session will be interactive and participative using a quiz and case study exercises to reinforce the SRT, and dispel some areas of confusion. In addition, the delegates will obtain some practical tips and advice for ensuring that clients remain either non-UK resident or resident as they wish.
