The FIDIC Yellow Book is constantly evolving and is used as the base template in a significant number of major construction projects around the globe.
Having confidence navigating the FIDIC structure and understanding the key clauses and the principles underpinning them is essential to successful negotiations. However legal knowledge on its own is not enough; negotiation skills are key to fully leverage that legal knowledge.
This course will look at the clauses primarily from a Scots law perspective but will also consider the application of English law.
It will also cover negotiation methods to overcome positional bargaining.
