How to Prepare for an SRA AML Audit & Achieve Compliance
Introduction
Recent figures from the SRA Annual AML Report 24/25 confirm that almost a third of the law firms reviewed by the SRA, either by desk-based review or onsite inspection, were non-compliant. Only 13% were fully compliant with the remainder being partially compliant. These figures need to improve.
How hard is it be fully compliant? What do you need to have in place and what does your firm need to be doing to make it compliant? Are you ready to receive your email from the SRA to say you have been chosen for a desk-based review or onsite inspection?
There is a lot you can do to be prepared for an SRA visit and to come out of it with a fully compliant rating.
Expert speaker Jo Morris will guide you through the audit process, from the first contact with the SRA to ensuring that you have the correct documentation in place and your staff are following your policies and procedures.
