Employee Surveillance & the GDPR
The General Data Protection Regulation (the ‘GDPR’) came into effect in the United Kingdom and other EU Member States on 25 May 2018. The UK’s Data Protection Bill (UK DP Bill) received royal assent on 23 May 2018 ahead of the UK’s exit from the EU. It seeks to implement the GDPR (and give effect to it post-Brexit), and to legislate on matters such as employment law and the law enforcement directive, as well as research exemptions.
This webinar will be highly practical, up-skilling viewers to be able to consider the employee surveillance requirements of GDPR with confidence.
