Introduction

The ECCTA has already radically changed the nature of the Companies House register and implemented widespread reforms relating to companies and LLPs, including identity verification for directors, people with significant control, controls surrounding registered email addresses and registered office addresses and additional requirements designed to improve the quality and information on the register at Companies House.

This virtual classroom session will analyse how Companies House is already using its powers, including enforcement trends, together with specific issues that have arisen in relation to identity verification.

What You Will Learn

This live and interactive course will cover the following:

  • Examples of Companies House enforcement to date (and guidance in relation to future enforcement)
  • Latest position in relation to implementation (including up to date timings)
  • Common issues and concerns for digital filings and transparency
  • Practical risk mitigation steps for companies

Recording of live sessions: Soon after the Learn Live session has taken place you will be able to go back and access the recording - should you wish to revisit the material discussed.
