Charity Safeguarding, Governance & Fundraising - A Masterclass
This course covers important and topical areas for charity practitioners, whether in private practice or inhouse. Attention will be focused on charity tax rules affecting donors, together with general best practice for trustees and senior management in light of high profile cases relating to safeguarding, governance and fundraising.
The current climate of uncertainty brings to the fore the issue of how charities (particularly smaller charities) might cope and this course examines how they might go about consolidating resources with other charities. In tandem with this is the issue faced by all charities to ensure they comply with the law, which for many is a significant burden. Principles arising from recent and current case law in relation to these areas will be shared throughout the course.
