Introduction

This virtual classroom seminar aims to provide an in-depth introduction to the key elements of planning law to anyone involved in the planning process.

It will consider the fundamentals of the planning system and how it is administered. It will look at the planning application process including procedural issues and what should be included in an application.

The live session will consider the decision-making process, post-consent issues including appeals, amending planning permissions, and interpreting planning documents. Lawfulness, enforcement, and court challenges are covered, with the emphasis again being on giving practical and accessible guidance.
