CLC’s Code of Conduct - 6 Essential Modules for Conveyancers
Speaker
Introduction
Conveyancers and firms regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) must adhere to the CLC’s regulatory regime which is underpinned by the Handbook that sets out the regulatory responsibilities of all individuals and firms regulated by them.
The CLC updated its Handbook in January 2025 and since then has issued its annual Risk Agenda which makes stark reading for licenced conveyancers. The CLC has noted concerns about issues central to the conveyancing process such as undertakings and post completion duties.
This 6-part modular webinar series is designed specifically for conveyancers working on the coal face. It provides a practical overview of the CLC’s Codes of Conduct and some of the key regulatory responsibilities. With the CLC highlighting key areas of concern, this webinar series ensures conveyancers understand their responsibilities and can confidently apply the Code in practice.
